Working in primitive working conditions, for little or no wages, they have not let that hinder them from growing their art this season. These powerful grassroots activities has given birth to two original operas and numerous interesting reworks of operas by daring artists staged with passion and care, and the performing arts landscape in Iceland is richer for it.
